A BBL may be suitable if you desire more volume or a better shape in your buttocks and have sufficient fat in other areas (like the abdomen, flanks, or thighs) to be harvested for transfer. The best candidates are in good general health and have realistic expectations.
The fat cells that successfully survive the transfer process become a permanent part of your buttocks. However, significant weight fluctuations can affect the size of these fat cells, potentially altering your results over time.
Most patients feel comfortable returning to light daily activities within about 10 to 14 days. A crucial part of recovery is avoiding direct pressure on the buttocks (sitting or lying on your back) for several weeks to ensure the survival of the transferred fat.
